How it works.

1. You find a item that you would like to sell.
2. Bring the item into or ship it to a Buy and Sell Location.
3. FIll out a short form giving as many details about your item that you know.
4. We then take professional photographs.
5. We do additional research to provide important details.
6. We write a responsive ad.
7. We answer any questions about the auction.
8. We invoice the customer after the auction.
9. We collect payment.
10. We carefully pack and ship your item.
11. We send you a check.

We have Multiple types of ways to sell your products.

1. The most popular way is to list the item on eBay® for a 7 day listing with a starting bid of $.99. We will relist this type of auction a second time if it does not sell the first time for free. There is no upfront fees for this type of auction so if your item does not sell you will not have to pay anything. Then when your item sells you will recieve the final price of the auction minus our selling fees. (listed below)
2. The second way is to list an item on eBay® for a 7 day auction with a higher starting price or reserve price. With this type of auction there is an upfront listing fee paid before we list the item of $9.95 that is fully refundable once the item has sold. Then when your item sells you will recieve the final price of the auction minus our selling fees. (listed below)
3. The third way is that we will list your item for up to six months in our eBay® store. You set the selling price that you want for the item and we list it for that price. There is an upfront listing fee of $4.95 for this type of listing that is fully refundable once the item is sold. Then when your item sells you will recieve the final price of the listing minus our selling fees. (listed below)

Fees

Within 14 days after an item sells and is paid for Buy and Sell Stuff Online (BASSO) will deduct our selling fees, as listed below, from the final selling price of the auction and cut the seller a check with a detail record of the auction price and our commission. All eBay® fees and payment processing fees are paid by BASSO. There may be a Packaging and Handling fee included with the shipping cost paid buy the buyer, to offset our shipping cost, which is not included in the final selling price.

BASSO offers 3 choices when listing an item:

Pay no listing fee: (Standard auction 7-days)

• 40% of sale price up to $50; plus
• 35% of sale price between $50.01 and $100.00; plus
• 30% of sale price between $100.01 and $200.00 plus
• 25% of sale price between $200.01 and $500.00 plus
• 20% of sale price from $500.01 and up.

Pay a $9.95 upgraded listing fee: (If you want your auction to start at a higher price or you want a reserve price auction)

• $9.95 listing fee fully refundable when your item sells.
• 40% of sale price up to $50; plus
• 35% of sale price between $50.01 and $100.00; plus
• 30% of sale price between $100.01 and $200.00 plus
• 25% of sale price between $200.01 and $500.00 plus
• 20% of sale price from $500.01 and up.

Pay $4 .95 listing fee: (Standard eBay® Store Listing 6 Months)

• $4.95 cent listing fee fully refundable when item sells.
• 40% of sale price up to $50; plus
• 35% of sale price between $50.01 and $100.00; plus
• 30% of sale price between $100.01 and $200.00 plus
• 25% of sale price between $200.01 and $500.00 plus
• 20% of sale price from $500.01 and up.

Many Buy and Sell Stuff Online stores are thrift stores with a long-standing presence in the community, In addition to listing your item on eBay®, we also make your items available to local individuals that come to our store to browse great deals and shop for bargains. If a local shopper decides to buy the item for its agreeded upon “buy it now” then we sell it to them directly, or they can bid on the item through one of our in-store auction computers .
